I recently reconnected with this book, one of the many Usui Reiki books researched authentically in Japan and written by international Usui Reiki authority, Frank Arjava Petter.
I particularly love how Frank reconnects the reader to the history and stream of Reiki flowing down the decades via the Usui Reiki Teachers Lineage …. so much of today’s Reiki is focused on ‘this lifetime’ that it’s easy to feel Usui Reiki is a stand-alone modality, not a powerful lineage of deeply compassionate and intelligent energy passed down by committed Teachers over decades to balance and harmonise humanity’s journey through daily life.
Those of my students who read this book loved how it connected them to the authenticity and integrity of Usui's Reiki - his dedication, compassion, perserverance and the deep spiritual journey he had to bring Reiki to as many people as possible.
They valued being a pearl on the Lineage Chain of Reiki and knowing they were part of something much greater than themselves - which Frank does so humbly and accurately.

I consider this book a 'must' for all Reiki students and it's at the top of the Reiki resources list I give all my students. I ordered mine from Book Depository online $NZ26.21 (no freight) and it's also available on Kindle.
